Born in Kansas, raised in Indiana and Michigan, I spent my formative years of middle school and high school in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. I attended university in Houston, TX and Cambridge, MA and in between, lived and worked in Cambodia, Uganda, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka.
